Dan Webber - Genre Fluid

Delius Arts and Cultural Centre

Dan Webber – Genre Fluid Winner – Best Solo Show – Morecambe Fringe Festival 2020 The stand-up poet, reluctant bear and attempted vegan strips… away labels in love, life, the arts, and in the LGBTQ+ community in this fast-paced, honest and hilarious debut. Under constant pressure from marketing people to decide whether he is a comic or poet, Dan navigates through the confusing world of definitions. It’s not quite a poetry show, it’s not quite a comedy, show it’s ‘Genre Fluid’.

Dan Webber is an LGBTQ+ poet, producer and promoter based in Derby, he has previously performed at Edinburgh Festival Fringe, The RSC, and as part of the 25th Birthday Celebrations for Leicester Comedy Festival. Previous commissions include work for Coventry Pride, Derby Feste and SHOUT Festival, Birmingham.
